SIMO BlueSearch in 2007

Filed under: Mobile Phone, Technology — admin @ 7:23 pm

Yes gentlemen, we went and we were in the SIMO stand BlueSearch talking with Victor and Jesus Pedrero on the benefits and profits that can have a java application for mobile as BlueSearch.

BlueSearch is a system that allows mobile phones to communicate with those around you and meet people with your same interests or hobbies, or someone very special with whom to share the best moments of your life. And all this while you’re waiting for the bus pass or watching a movie in the cinema. Your mobile is in charge of finding people that fit your profile and alerts you so you can see them.

We downloaded the application via Bluetooth (just over 200 Kb) and Jesus was explaining that this system could have many more applications. For example, if we buy a book and that we are passing in front of a shop that has just the book we want, so why could not tell our mobile we can buy at the store?

And is that a growing number of premises that offer value-added services to their customers. BlueSearch as an application would be ideal to communicate with customers in restaurants, hotels … In fact, this is already being done in United States, where customers have access to a Starbucks with an iPhone or iPod Touch can see what song is playing and download.

Undoubtedly, BlueSearch is a great idea but it takes time, maturity and hard work is very interesting both for the opportunity to meet people close to us for applications that can deliver to stores, airports, clubs … As a curiosity, formerly known as Bluetooth BlueSearch in love.
